This free presentation and discussion will explore the tensions surrounding the rights of free speech and academic freedom on college and university campuses for students, faculty, and staff. The presentation will identify the norms of campus speech and discuss the challenges facing the rights of free expression amidst the needs of institutions to promote healthy learning environments free of harassment at institutions dedicated to tolerance, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
